Can I invite you to explore the main square of the Old Town of Kraków?

I won’t exaggerate, in this virtual tour, you can find a piece of history in every corner. The main square of the Old Town of Kraków is called Rynek Glówny in Polish, and it’s surrounded by beautiful classic townhouses and churches. Soon you can read more about it, but for now, let’s not waste time, dive right into this 360° experience below.

There’s no better place to experience history in Kraków

Kraków itself is a very classical city. It’s one of the oldest ones in Poland and it’s one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The Old Town of the city is the historic center, and it’s on UNESCO’s original World Heritage List. If you looked around on the 360-degree photographs, you may have noticed that there are quite a few churches.

The whole square lies around a huge, long building called The Cloth Hall, which was once a center of international trade. Many traveling merchants arrived here to do business. The huge church that you can see on the starting 360-degree panoramic photograph of the virtual tour is the gothic St Mary’s Basilica which was built in the 14th century. On the other side of the square, you can explore the Town Hall Tower, which is the only remaining part of the old Kraków Town Hall, and not far from that you can also see the Church of St. Adalbert which is one of the oldest stone churches in Poland. Quite a list, isn’t it?
