If you ask someone to name only one sight in Slovenia, there is a 99% chance that it will be Lake Bled. It is the most popular tourist attraction without a doubt. Have you been there?
I bet you’ve seen at least one picture of Lake Bled. You know it’s the emerald-colored lake with a monastery in its middle. You don’t have to be religious to admire the Church of the Mother of God. It is simply amazing. It attracts thousands of visitors every year, and it’s maybe the most famous tourist attraction in Slovenia or even in the region.
When I was photographing nature in Slovenia, I couldn’t resist either and I visited the place.
